Originally from West Virginia, I moved to Michigan City with my husband in 1998. I immediately fell in love with the area and, soon after, became a Realtor with Merrion & Associates. I purchased the business seven years ago and continue to love what I do. Our office is like a family, and I’m thrilled to be surrounded by some of the best in the business!
My husband, Mike, and I love to travel and spend time with family (extended as it is – 7 grandkids), doggies and cats, and sitting by the pool when time allows!
I am a past president of the LaPorte County Association of Realtors, currently sit on the Board of Directors for LPCAR, past treasurer of Michigan City Main Street Association, and current treasurer for Michigan City Preservation and Education Foundation (a 501c3 organization).

Although new to the Realtor side, I’ve been in the real estate business for 13+ years. I moved to Michigan City in 2009 and am currently enrolled full-time at Purdue North Central for a Communications degree. I started working part-time at Merrion & Associates in April 2010 and in April 2011 I got my real estate license!
I have 3 children, a 9 year old daughter and boy/girl twins that are 6. They keep me busy with their extra-curricular activities and we have a bustling animal family as well at home! I love to read, travel, spend time with family, lounge on the beach and frolic in the warm waters of Lake Michigan! I have always wanted to live in a town on Lake Michigan and Michigan City is the perfect fit!

Born in the majestic mountains of West Virginia, I’ve lived in several states before making my home in Michigan City. I joined Merrion & Associates in April 2008 and have worked closely with my Principal Broker/Owner Debbie Burke, who also retains the title of mother.

I was warmly welcomed into Merrion & Associates Realtors in 2008. After graduating from St. Mary in College in 1978, I settled down with my husband and family in South Bend, IN. Eight children and almost thirty years later I decided to begin a new career as a real estate agent. I was drawn to Merrion & Associates Realtors because my basketball coach and good friend, from my college days, Ed Merrion, was the managing Broker and Owner.
My husband and I have been in the business of buying, selling, and managing farms for twenty five years. I decided to work towards becoming a real estate agent so that I could assist in the many farm transactions in which our family business was involved. Meet Tricia Meyer:
I have been selling Real Estate since 2002 and have been adding value to clients homes for over fifteen years. I received my Bachelors degree with a double major in Interior Design and Clothing and Textiles and a minor in Visual Merchandising from Morehead State University. After years of Retail Management and Visual Merchandising experience, I thought it was time for something new. This endeavor spawned "The Plaid Rabbit", which is the current name for my design work today. Plaid Rabbit was a partnership for a time but now is a singular entity exclusive to me. After many years in the Design Business, both here and in the Chicago Area, design clients would ask me "if you ever see a house like this, let me know". Hearing this repeatedly inspired me to get a Real Estate License. I have since staged and redesigned the majority of my Real Estate listings. Most have found this a quick way to profitable sale. I have closed several deals and went on to furnish and redesign a space before clients move in. This has been a great combination of my love for designing to help finalize my Real Estate deals. I live in Michigan City with my husband Jeff and two very active children who go to school locally at Notre Dame. I have been with Merrion and Associates since 2002. We have a very family friendly environment and have been doing business in the Beach Community for years.
